I am an artist, stone carver, and maker of contemporary vessels and objects. My work focuses on the use of natural and reclaimed materials to create modern artifacts. I explore and grapple with the collision between ancient and modern in the 21st century.

My bowls act as both decorative as well as spiritual and ceremonial artifacts. Small objects fascinate me. The precious and the cherished are my aim. The personal and the intimate are not locations for most modern sculpture. I take sculpture off its pedestal. Small shapes, studies in a beautiful line, that honor the heart and the home. I approach my work from a ecocentric and primitivist lens hand gathering each piece of stone I work.
